Writing Workshop with Jon Brittain, 18 March 2016
Following the TransActing project in London in summer 2015, we ran a one-day writing workshop for trans and/ or non-binary people aged 16 and over.
Writer Jon Brittain lead the workshop. Jon wrote Rotterdam (Theatre 503). See here for an interview where Jon talks about the play which has a trans character at the heart of it.
The day was structured into three parts:
- Getting started (tips and tricks to start creating characters and scenes)
- Re-writing (taking your first draft to the next stages)
- What next? (getting your work read and seen)
