Gendered Intelligence: Understanding diversity in creative ways

16-20 Youth Group in London

From January 2017, Gendered Intelligence is running a new youth group for trans, non-binary, gender variant and gender questioning young people aged between 16 and 20.

We are reducing the age range of our 16-25 group because we feel that young people who attend could no longer receive one-to-one support due to the large group size.

The group will still take place on one Tuesday evening per month.

Time: 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm

Please note - the April 2017 youth group will take place at Open Barbers - see more info below.

Meetings take place at the Underground centre in Holloway, Islington, N7 8TQ.

Meeting Point: Meet outside Caledonian Road Underground station 6pm- 6.15pm to walk to the Underground as a group.

Information for newcomers

Newcomers can come to their first session half an hour before the main sessions starts in order to get used to the space.

Meeting Point: Meet outside Caledonian Road Underground station 5.45pm to walk to the Underground as a group, or meet in the youth group space at 6pm.

April's 16-20 GI youth group is NOT at the usual place- we are going to OPEN BARBERS the hair salon for all genders run by trans people! Meet us as a group at Old Street station, outside exit 1, between 5:30-5:45pm. We'll walk together to the salon. A volunteer will wait for latecomers until about 6:10pm to 6.15pm. Or find your own way: 4 Clunbury Street, London N1 6TT. We'll be there 6-9. Looking forward to the evening! Remember if you can't meet us before 6, come along any time before 9 to join in. Chill out, games, zone reading, snacks, travel bursaries.

The Underground is a dedicated youth centre with sofas, a kitchen, a small recording studio and plenty of space for spreading out during sessions.
