Open Reflective space for practitioners working with trans non binary and gender expansive folk

Gendered Intelligence is running an online (Zoom) facilitated reflective space for all therapists and counsellors who have completed our training.

This group is intended to provide a space for ongoing reflection and learning for therapists /counsellors who are committed to working supportively with a diverse range of trans, non-binary, gender questioning and gender expansive clients.

Who is eligible to join?

• Any therapist/counsellor who has attended a Gendered Intelligence two-day or full day training session for therapists and counsellors
• Both qualified and trainee practitioners are welcome.

This will be a small group, between 4-10 people.

Facilitator:

Billy Urquhart (they/them)

Billy is a Trainer at Gendered Intelligence, based in Glasgow. They are also a person Centered Therapist with additional training in Narrative Therapy and Somatic Trauma Therapy. They have been working as a counsellor and group worker at LGBT Health and Wellbeing in Glasgow and at Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre, where they developed and delivered an LGBTQ+ survivors' support service. As a trainer, they have delivered training to therapists, charity workers and statutory organisations including social work, COPFS, NHS and GBV support services.
