TPOC resi is back this year! After a break in 2025, our 2026 TPOC residential will be on Friday 16th October-Sunday 18th October. This will be a two night stay for young trans people of colour (that's anyone who is Black, Asian, mixed heritage, or otherwise racialised as non-white), giving us space to connect with ourselves, each other, and nature. This year, TPOC resi is open to 16-25 year olds.

To come to our TPOC resi, you will also have to be able to attend our online prep evening on Wednesday 23rd September, 6:30-8:30pm.

Key info:

  • TPOC resi 2026 is 16th-18th October, with young people arriving at the venue between 4:30-6:30pm.
  • The venue is in Kent. The nearest train stations are on the Thameslink and Southeastern rail lines. The full address will be provided at the prep evening on 23rd September. There is also parking onsite, if you are driving.
  • All young people will be in shared dorms. If this is an issue for you due to access needs, please let us know in the sign-up form.

How we allocate spaces

  • Booking will be live until 6pm on 8th September.
  • Booking is not first come, first served.
  • You'll be asked if you've been camping with us before and how many times. If you've been camping with us a lot, you may not get a space, as we want everyone to have an opportunity. But as there were no camps in 2025, everyone is welcome to apply.
  • We have a maximum of 18 spaces - please only sign up if you're sure you're available 16th-18th October.
  • We have 4 spaces reserves for trans women/trans femme young people, 4 spaces reserved for 25-year-olds (for whom this may be the last opportunity to come to a GI residential), and 3 spaces reserved for people who have never been on a GI camp or residential before.
  • After the spaces named above, spaces will be allocated randomly using a random number generator.
