Practice description
“I am a gender affirming Therapist experienced in working closely with LGBTQ+ folk aged 13 and over. I also see clients who are and/or love neurodivergent people (ASD, ADHD, AuDHD, Dyslexic, Dyspractic, etc), as well as those whose identities broadly intersect as both Queer and ND.
I trained in Person-Centred and Existentialist theories, and I freely borrow from other modalities when appropriate. My clients come from a wide spectrum of ages and backgrounds because I specialise in Otherness, the alienating experience of feeling radically different to everyone else around us. Being an Other can happen to anyone, and it’s often traumatic.
I’m trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and culturally attuned. We will use your personal values and beliefs as our reference points during therapy, so that we can safely explore what’s going on for you from the only appropriate perspective: your own.”
