Hello, I’m Chloe.
I specialise in offering therapy by email. By writing instead of talking many of my clients feel much more comfortable and able to say what they really need to as they don’t feel as awkward and embarrassed.
Email Counselling is often much more accessible for many trans/enby folks, especially if they feel uncomfortable showing their therapist what they look like and find it distressing to have to hear their voice, which maybe doesn’t match who they really are.
I have sadly lost count of how many clients I have worked with who have told me they’ve felt unable to open up about their gender and/or sexuality to a previous counsellor. I want this to change and look forward to working with you.
Since completing my advanced specialist online training in 2018 I have continued to grow a very popular practice with Email Counselling at the heart. Then in 2023 I founded Email Counselling Academy where I teach other counsellors this specialist skill. Find out more about Email Counselling HERE.
I have worked in queer communities since 2012 supporting LGBTQ+ people in mental health, youth work and counselling.
I am also an Accredited Therapist in Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diversity with Pink Therapy.
Drawing on all my professional experience working with LGBTQ+ clients together with my lived experience as a Queer person myself I set up Sussex Rainbow Counselling in 2016 where I specialise in working with gender, sex and relationship diversity.

I also studied an advanced specialist online training in 2018 so was already trained an experienced in delivering online counselling prior to the covid pandemic. General skills
My experience working with gender and sexuality is rich having worked as an LGBTQ+ youth worker, for an LGBTQ+ counselling service and for an LGBTQ+ mental health organisation before qualifying as a counsellor.
