Practice description
I am a person-centred counsellor, and I welcome people of all identities, including those with diverse gender, sexuality and relationship identities, and those identifying as neurodiverse. I have particular experience of working with trauma (including sexual violence) and bereavement.
The space I offer is yours, to be led by you and what you need. I will do my best to be reliable and trustworthy, to offer you warmth and empathy, and to value and respect all parts of you.
My counselling is anti-oppressive and can include, where helpful, an exploration of how power and privilege operate in our society, and how structures of domination including racism, patriarchy, heteronormativity and ableism, can cause or compound individual trauma and distress.
I work in an open-ended way so clients continue to see me for as long as they feel is helpful.
My practice is wheelchair-accessible.
