Practice description

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor with a person-centred approach at the core of my practice.

I offer a welcoming, affirming space for trans and non-binary clients to explore whatever brings you to therapy—whether it’s related to gender or not. My practice is grounded in respect, curiosity, and a deep commitment to honouring your identity, experiences, and autonomy.

With extensive experience working within LGBTQ+ communities, I understand the unique challenges that can arise, including stigma, shame, addiction, and the complexities of intimacy and connection. My approach integrates various therapeutic modalities, including, CBT, TA, GSRD and mindfulness techniques, to tailor support to each individual’s needs. However, my foundation remains person-centred—ensuring that therapy is led by you, at your pace, in a space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered.

You might be navigating questions about transition, dysphoria, relationships, family dynamics, work, or the impact of transphobia. You might also be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or a desire to feel more connected to yourself. Whatever you’re carrying, you deserve a therapist who sees and supports all of who you are.

I understand that therapy has not always been safe or inclusive for trans and non-binary people. I work actively to create a space where you don’t have to educate your therapist, explain your identity, or defend your right to be who you are. I use informed, gender-affirming approaches tailored to your needs and goals, whether that’s healing, growth, self- acceptance, or change.

Above all, I believe in your right to define your own identity and path. Therapy can be a space to reconnect with your truth, build resilience, and move toward the life you want—on your terms.

As well as having a number of trans friends, my specialist GSRD training with Pink Therapy helps inform my practice. I have also attended a two-day course with Gendered Intelligence on working with trans and non-binary clients.
