“I’m Jeneseka or Jen (she/her), a trans woman and therapist offering online counselling, and in-person sessions in Norwich, Norfolk. I offer a warm, affirming and non-judgemental space where you can explore your identity, relationships and wider life experiences at your own pace. My approach is grounded in the humanistic person-centred approach, placing the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the work. I aim to listen carefully and respond with empathy, honesty and respect, walking alongside you rather than directing or diagnosing. Clients often describe our work as calm but purposeful, allowing them to show up without needing to explain or defend who they are. I have extensive experience supporting trans, non-binary and gender-questioning people, as well as work around dysphoria, social and medical transition, self-esteem, anxiety, low mood, eating difficulties and significant life transitions. I hold a DipHE in Person-Centred Counselling and practise in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework.”
