“A warm welcome from me, I know how hard it is to make that first step and reach out for counselling from my own experience. My own experience of the counselling process led me to train to be a counsellor as it transformed my life. I can’t promise to transform lives, but I can offer a safe space to explore difficult life experiences or emotions or even if you are unsure of why you have come to counselling.

My approach is Person-Centred, which means I create an environment that is non-judgmental and empathic. You are the expert on your life but need someone to figure it all out with and work out what you need. I combine talking therapy with psychoeducation as I believe this creates the opportunity for clients to get the most out of sessions. I have undergone specialist training with ‘Gendered Intelligence’ with working with gender diversity and have varied experience of working with the LGBTQ+ community so if sexual or gender identity is part of your story I can certainly be of help.

I do offer a free 15 minute zoom call if you would like to explore working together or to ensure we are a good fit as our relationship is key to counselling. I have experience of working with LGBTQ+ clients and with survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Or if you are an individual that needs support but doesn’t know where to start and you feel like you are not being heard I can be of help.”
