South West Support Line

Our South West Support Line is for people on the West of England (Laurels) Gender Identity Clinic waiting list. The service runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  

We are here for you while you wait for healthcare — whether you have questions about your journey, need support navigating this time, or would welcome emotional support. 

We understand that waiting for care can be frustrating, isolating and uncertain. We can talk with you about managing long waits, looking after your wellbeing, understanding your options, and navigating your healthcare pathway. We are also here simply to listen — whatever is going on for you. 

The line is run by and for trans and non-binary people. We do not share information with the gender clinics without your consent.

• Tuesdays: 10:00 to 13:30 
• Thursdays: 15:00 to 18:30

South West Support Line is part of our Waiting Well project, a service from Gendered Intelligence and LGBT Foundation to support trans and non-binary adults in South West England.
